If you love over-the-top jewelry, please take a look at my new samples for Art Unraveled. I've been attending AU for seven years and this is my first year teaching. I'm really excited and am bringing tons of beads and ideas.
I recently quit work, not because I planned it, but I couldn't go another day. I went through a long period of self-doubt. When I go past all that, my art seemed to "take off". I'm enjoying life once again.
This past year, I've was fortunate enough to be published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors and Sommerset Gallery, Somerset Studio and Dorit Elsiha Mixed Media and Printmaking book. I was accepted in the juried Redlands Multi-Media Mini Show, and one of my collagraphs was chosen for display in the Riverside Art Museum at a show called Art Alive. Wow! Life is good.
Eye-poppers is the nickname for my Lunch at the Ritz earring collection. They are my second love. My first, and the most satisfying love is art. Paint, glue, bits of paper, tiny pieces of metal, watercolor, crayon, fibers and more just turn me on today. I can often be found at garage sales and thrift stores oohing and aahing over a game board or?
