I saw your article in Cloth Paper Scissors on these beads. I had a question about how to make them - specifically about the melted embossing powder. I have never melted it like that before - do I use a double boiler to melt it and then dip the bead in and use the heat gun to keep the embossing powder liquid until the bead is completely covered? Thanks!
I recently quit work, not because I planned it, but I couldn't go another day. I went through a long period of self-doubt. When I go past all that, my art seemed to "take off". I'm enjoying life once again.
This past year, I've was fortunate enough to be published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors and Sommerset Gallery, Somerset Studio and Dorit Elsiha Mixed Media and Printmaking book. I was accepted in the juried Redlands Multi-Media Mini Show, and one of my collagraphs was chosen for display in the Riverside Art Museum at a show called Art Alive. Wow! Life is good.
