These are very time consuming but fun to make and really quite interesting when done. I'd like to try etching into the metal cover. Maybe when I get caught up.
I recently quit work, not because I planned it, but I couldn't go another day. I went through a long period of self-doubt. When I go past all that, my art seemed to "take off". I'm enjoying life once again.
This past year, I've was fortunate enough to be published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors and Sommerset Gallery, Somerset Studio and Dorit Elsiha Mixed Media and Printmaking book. I was accepted in the juried Redlands Multi-Media Mini Show, and one of my collagraphs was chosen for display in the Riverside Art Museum at a show called Art Alive. Wow! Life is good.
